This is a deeply personal piece to me, since my early teenage years, I have wrestled with depression. It has been an ongoing battle that has often left me with feelings of hopelessness and despair.

A semicolon represents a sentence that could have ended, but instead goes on. “;but God” is a reminder of the hope you have in Jesus. He is the Author of your life, your name is written on His heart. Trust in Him, He is writing your story. “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.” Hebrews 12:2
