Holly Lane is a small but mighty business with a big heart and an even bigger mission. We create unique sterling silver Christian jewelry to spark conversations about Christ. In this role, you'll work closely with Holly Lane’s jewelry designer and founder to brainstorm and implement new ways for Holly Lane to continue to grow online.
With your stellar design and photography skills, you will create compelling and engaging media for use online, in print and anywhere in-between. You will get to monitor and improve our online store built on Shopify.
You will thrive here If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, you are comfortable working independently and have a passion for design with a purpose. This is a full-time position located in picturesque Montpelier, VA where we operate in a small, home-based, detached studio setting.
What you'll do:
Dream up, design, and deliver digital, print and photographic assets for all of our creative efforts. Assist with brainstorming product launches. Use your keen eye to make sure all of our projects and platforms are visually consistent. Your role will cross over into these categories:
Graphic Design
From creating print material like postcards and tote bags to website updates and email designs, you will get to try your hand at many different mediums!
E-commerce
Team up with our contract developer to implement UX enhancements on the front end of hollylane.com that will improve customer experience.
Plan, create and run promotional sales set by our seasonal calendar.
Create visually dynamic email campaigns in MailChimp.
Test the website before and after site refreshes to maintain and update Holly Lane’s online presence.
Photography
Capture our jewelry in real life with styled product shoots. Launch new products by taking and editing eye-catching product photos for hollylane.com
Social Media
Engage with current and new followers by creating engaging graphics and content for Holly Lane’s social media presence on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Marketing
Measure the effectiveness of current marketing strategies.
Develop new marketing strategies within Holly Lane’s budget.
Research current trends and creative in digital marketing, with emphasis on mobile.
Requirements:
Adobe Creative Suite wizard. You can skillfully navigate Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
Excellent time-management skills
Ability to work independently as well as with a team, maintaining a positive attitude under deadlines
Preferred qualifications:
Degree in graphic design, photography or something similar
Knowledge of Biblical content
Experience with Shopify/eCommerce management
Even better if you have experience with:
Experience with lifestyle and/or product photography

Marketing

The details:
Full-time position in Montpelier, VA (right outside Richmond)
Salary: $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year based on experience and skill level
Applicants must show a portfolio of work to be considered. Training with our current Graphic Designer & Photographer will be provided
