In the Community: Making a Difference Together
February 2024
One of our main focuses for 2024 is serving- our customers, community and one another. During our recent retreat, we decided to direct more focus on community outreach and ministry engagements. We are excited to take the next step in that direction by working with the following three ministries and organizations, with the hope to carry out the Great Commission and serve our community. I’m blessed to know several individuals involved in these ministries and am honored to have the opportunity to support them in their efforts.
Wings of Hope Ranch is a non-profit Christian ministry in Hanover, VA that pairs children with rescued horses to find hope and healing in companionship. Learn more about volunteering here.
The 516 Project is a non-profit Christian construction ministry located in Fredericksburg, VA and committed to working with churches, businesses, and individuals to share the love of Jesus with those in need and positively impact the community by glorifying God through service. Learn more about volunteering here.
Eight Days of Hope is a Christian disaster relief organization inspired by 1 Peter 4:10, which says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace” (ESV). Volunteers gather to use their unique, God-given gifts to love and serve those impacted by natural disasters. Learn more about volunteering here.
Each of these organizations represents how everyone has at least one gift they can use to uniquely share the Gospel and serve the Lord. We would love for you to join us in serving the Lord, supporting the community, and fulfilling the Great Commission through engagement with ministries like these.

My granddaughter goes to Wings of Hope. She is 6 years old and lost her father. She loves it and it has helped her.
